Party Games

There’s an old saying that liquor is also called spirits because its consumption evokes spirits within the user. Although this is not too far fetched according to historians referencing past alchemist’s shared beliefs, the term is more technically associated with the distillation process that draws out the alcohol which was considered the essence or “spirit” of the drink. While the latter more technical association of the label makes sense, I cannot help but ponder the former spiritual evocation meaning given the condition of our world today.

Serious "qtna", what kind of alcohol has been getting consumed by supposed societal leaders throughout history to present day for systems of this world to be so terribly structured and managed? What kind of spirits lead humans on earth to realistically believe they are justified to abuse, demean, enslave, exploit, ignore, and oppress groups of people as if they are drunken with power? The fact that such a culture regularly exists in our reality is baffling.

On a lighter note, here's a picture of a rotten mango and it's close resemblance to something else rotten, along with a piece from Breezinout that further elaborates.
